As mentioned yesterday, Monica, Peggy, Rachel, Samantha and I had a lovely day at The Peninsula Hotel this past weekend. After some hot chocolate and champagne at the ice rink, we dressed it up for some additional bubbly in the lobby. The Peninsula has decked their halls with the most gorgeous decor and holiday trimmings.
I highly recommend stopping by for a spot of afternoon tea by the Christmas Tree too. Such a fun tradition to start with friends or family.
I recently stopped by Nordstrom Rack and found this cute little cocktail dress for only $25! I thought the roses were a fun take on the green and red. I added one of my favorite tweed jackets which is perfect when going from the office to your holiday party. And my embellished pumps have been on repeat this season.
As noted in my last post, my friends and I do an annual holiday hotel bar crawl in December and we always start at The Peninsula. We are actually doing it this weekend! The Gold Coast is filled with the most beautiful hotels that go above and beyond in garland, lights and shiny ornaments. We grab one cocktail at each location and make our way around town. It is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit and see all the decorations. We even run into Blitzen at the end of the night…if you know what I mean 😉
What traditions do you have or want to start? We actually began the holiday hotel bar crawl last year, but we already call it a tradition.

Also, The Peninsula is doing a wonderful charity promotion to spread the holiday cheer and you can participate! Guests will find SnowPage, a smiley plush snowman, decorating the hotel’s public space. For every image of the stuffed animal posted to social media with the hashtag #SnowPage, The Peninsula will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which helps children with life-threatening diseases fulfill their dreams. My sister-in-law works for Make-A-Wish and it truly is an amazing charity. So if you happen to stop by, keep your eyes peeled for SnowPage!

Thanks again Heidi! Right back at you!
It doesn’t get any better than holiday tea at the Peninsula! You ladies looked gorgeous – and there’s not better backdrop to a holiday shoot than that Peninsula Christmas tree!
