Chicago Date Idea: Super Deals for the Super Bowl

Although us Chicagoans are green with envy that the Packers will be playing in this Sunday’s Super Bowl XLV, that is no reason not to rise to the occasion. If you want to score yourself a hot date for next week, here are some local watering holes not to be missed for the game.

Ford Models + Football = Ummmm…yes please!

Nope, I am for real. Men of all ages (over 21 of course)… I am pleased to inform you that Rockit Bar and Grill is hosting a Super Bowl viewing party along with the Tom Ford Modeling Agency and Cheeky Chicago. Between the bloody mary bar and the eye candy, it will be almost impossible to keep focused on the game.

Make “Piece” With Your Enemy

You are missing out if your lips have never touched the beer and ‘za from Piece Brewery and Pizzeria in Bucktown. Only $25 for a large pizza pie and growler this Sunday (and every Sunday actually). What the heck is a growler you ask? As you can see above, it’s basically a huge jug of their homemade brew. Feel free to offer a slice to that cutie at the bar too.

Biggest Bang For Your Buck

For the frugal…a six hour food and drink deal for only $25 per person. Say what?!?! The rock and roll themed Faith and Whiskey Bar in Lincoln Park is presenting this steal from 3:00 – 9:00 PM. It includes well drinks, wine and domestic drafts, plus a catered buffet from Pompeii. This sure won’t break the bank for your Valentine date next weekend.

Tap That

Newest, hottest spot in River North, Public House, will be open this Sunday for Packers versus Steelers. With self serve beer taps on the wall (see pic below) and over 25 flat screen TVs, no wonder this place is constantly slammed. Between the hotties and the twenty-five draught beer selection, its going to be difficult to decide what to try first!

Everyone have a fantastic weekend. Better luck next time Bears…Cheers!
