There are so many places to go for happy hour in Chicago, but we tend to stick to the spots right around the corner from work or the close by neighborhood joint. Convenience is priceless, but inconvenience can be cheaper. So I ask you to take the challenge of stepping outside your comfort zone. Lets explore the $5 cocktail menu.
First up White Sangria.
Fresh fruit, white wine and rum…shaken, but not stired, served straight up in a martini glass. Summer perfection. Or perhaps a Polar-berry martini?
Sugar rimmed deliciousness never hurt anybody. If you are one of those people that likes to try a little bit of everything…then I suggest the martini flight. And yes, this is within the $5 theme.
It even comes with a white little place mat describing each one. Starting from left to right…Lemon Drop, Sangria-tini, Hunch Punch and Polarberry-tini. Yum, yum, yum and YUM.
Although it says the Martini Lounge (aka bar area), you can still order these specials in the dining room. As for the food (and if you can make it early), order from the “Half Off Starters” menu in the Martini Lounge, weekdays from 5:00 – 6:30 PM.
Not too shabby huh? I told you this was good stuff! So mosey on over to Wild Fire and spend not so much of that hard earned money. Whether it be a man dinner, girls evening or fun little date night, this is a new item to add to your happy hour list.
