Did you know if you send your wedding invitation to the White House you will receive a formal response letter signed by the President and First Lady?
Simply address your wedding invitation as follows and pop in the mail:
Honorable Barack Obama and Mrs. Obama
The White House Greetings Office, Room 39
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW
Washington, DC 20502
I hear it can take months to receive an RSVP, but what a fun little keepsake to have! My wonderful co-worker who informed me of this fun fact, actually framed and hung hers up. And while you are at it, send one to Mickie Mouse and Cinderella too.
Happy President’s Day!

Hysterical. Wish I would have known about this when I was getting hitched!
I had no idea – that’s awesome! What a neat litte fact on President’s Day 🙂 My husband sent a letter once to Pres. Bush about something random just for fun and he got a signed response back. Pretty neat!
That’s so cute!
How fun! Who knew?!

That’s cool! Who knows, what if they showed up?
I guess this is REALLY popular in DC and have actually been putting the Obama’s on their guest list, in hopes that they really do make an appearance. Wouldn’t that be so cool if they did?
Never would have guessed that….. I’m impressed!
No way!?! Very fun trivia and completely holiday appropriate. (Even though I discovered your blog a day late.)
Adorable.
i am SO doing this!!
