In honor of Chicago’s Restaurant Week, I am extremely pumped to test out Blackbird‘s special lunch menu this afternoon. Whoohooo! I love trying new places, especially ones that have been nominated for the James Beard Award. Pretty much a slam dunk in my book.
Has anyone been here before? Have you guys been participating in Restaurant Week? Where have you dined? Where are you going? How was the food? Tell me EVERYTHING people!!!!

- Hot new restaurant, RPM Italian (partially owned by celebs Guiliana and Bill Rancic), is now taking reservations via phone EVEN though it hasn’t been formally announced. Just keep calling 312.222.1888 and cross your fingers someone picks up. Just made mine yesterday!

Yes please do!!! I am signed up for their newsletter and even checked on the website and they haven’t said a peep. Not sure why they haven’t announced it, but good for us peeps in the know…I know it is a hot reservation, so get it while you can!

Had lunch at blackbird 2 weeks ago on a snowy Chicago day – it was so yummy, had this amazing fish stew type thing;) RPM looks yum, can’t wait to try.
I loved Blackbird’s Restaurant Week menu last year ~ this year I didn’t repeat them but did make it to Naha, Paris Club (tonight), Perrenial Virant. Love these weeks in Feb! 🙂
