Balls of Steel

Since I am on a bit of a health kick, I knew I needed something handy, sweet and nutritious to put my regular sweet-tooth cravings to rest. After my friend shared a couple of her “No Bake Energy Balls” by Smashed Peas and Carrots, I knew they would be just the thing. And let me tell you…they are seriously AMAZEBALLS (pun intended). There are little ingredients, quick and easy to make. Win, win AND win.

The ingredients…

Put the solids in a large mixing bowl…

Pour in the liquids…

Stir and refrigerate for 30 minutes…

Roll into balls…

And wallah…Energy Balls!

I separated into baggies by groups of 2 or 3 and stored in the freezer. Quite convenient when running out the door and they fit perfectly in my purse. Filling, delicious and healthy, you won’t be disappointed. You can get the recipe here.

Side note: I accidently bought Irish steel cut oats, instead of oatmeal. Although they are tasty, I personally think the regular oatmeal is much better.

Enjoy!
