St. Patrick’s Day Chicago at the Trump

Happy St. Patrick’s Day Eve!

If you live in Chicago there are millions of things to do and festivities to celebrate. However if you find yourself with a bit of free time tomorrow, this activity takes the cake.

One of the best kept secrets in Chicago on St. Patrick’s Day, is popping by Rebar for a cocktail and watching the dying of the river (to take place at 10:45 AM). Located inside the Trump Tower and overlooking the Chicago River, it has one of the best river views in the entire city. It is also not the first place to come to mind for such a rowdy Irish holiday. So between the two, it is the perfect spot to see one of the Windy City’s most spectacular traditions, all while skipping the crowds. Talk about a first row seat! You can also indulge in a St. Patty’s signature beverage, such as the Shamrockatini and Leprechaun Elixer ($17). Yum!

What are your plans for St. Patrick’s Day? I am going to a party but would love to grab a Shamrockatini beforehand!

P.S. I am dying over this darling shamrock tank. It is even cuter in person!
