When wanting to impress, there is nothing better than attending the hottest openings in the city. And I just happen to have two on the list for you to wow your dates and friends! Drumbar and The J.Parker.
After attending last weekend’s opening, Drumbar is ABSOLUTELY going to be the new “it” place this summer. (Finally, something other than the Paris Club!) On top of Raffaello Hotel (right behind the Hancock), guests will enjoy stunning views, heavenly cocktails and something unlike anything yet in Chicago. Of course hot openings come with the typical pretentious doormen (this guy was a real stickler!), lines and expensive cocktails. Ladies, you will have no trouble, but men…you know the drill. Go early. Also, Kelsey Grammer had his wife’s baby shower here this past Tuesday. Did I mention it is fabulous? Here are some pics!

The J. Parker, is Hotel Lincoln’s new rooftop lounge (same building as Perrenial) but yet to open! Rumor is it will be another new hot spot and the city skyline, right over Lincoln Park Zoo is supposedly breathtaking. Keep your eyes peeled here for opening updates. And I love the story behind the name.
