Bavette’s Bar & Bouef

One of my favorite Chicago bloggers Instagramed her date night at one of my very favorite Chicago restaurant’s, Bavette’s Bar & Bouef. It reminded me I had not yet blogged about this gem of a place and had to pull my pics from archives. This place is seriously fab (especially for a date) and the food is phenomenal. So GET. THERE. NOW.

Order the Cesar Salad. If and when you come to Bavette’s, you will look at the menu and NOT want to order the Cesar Salad. But do it anyways. Trust me. My friend made me do it and I am paying it forward.

I mean how can you go wrong with this classic combo? And the large parmesan cheese shavings are just the icing on the cake.

To give you some background, this place is by the same people as (the all equally amazing) Gilt Bar, Doughnut Vault, Au Cheval and Maude’s Liquor Bar. If you have not been to these places either, be sure to add them to the list!
