I know I promised I would not turn this into a wedding blog…but I think I deserve just one little post to rave about the people who helped make my day LITERALLY perfect. Wedding season is approaching, so why not give these fabulous people some credit in case any of you are in the market.

Photography by Lauren Michelle Studios. Lauren has an incredible eye for detail and editing is her secret weapon. She is responsible for each every one of these gorgeous photos and an absolute joy to work with. She not only took my blog profile pics, but this gal is the real deal. Although just now expanding her portfolio into the wedding scene, she is in such high demand, she is turning people down left and right. Call her now or forever hold your peace. Not to mention she is so adorable and the most stylish photographer ever!

Makeup by Becca Weiner from the Bobbi Brown counter at Bloomingdales. Literally the cutest little peanut and made me feel so beautiful. Makeup trials, fake lashes, and really took the time to match my complexion and color palette perfectly. Not to mention she can make a lady feel gorge for a girls night out too. Email me for her contact info or just ask for Becca at Bloomies‘ Bobbi Brown makeup counter.

Flowers and decorations by Jellie and Scott at Ivan Carlson. Hands down the most enjoyable people to work with. They did all my decorations (wish I had pics!), flowers and a hidden gem in the wedding world. They too are just now starting to dabble in the wedding business. But don’t mistake this for lack of experience…they do all of Navy Piers’ holiday decorations, Macy events and several other high profile soirees in Chicago.
Necklace by Rent the Runway. Tried this out for the first time on my wedding day (yes, a bit risky) and could not have been happier! I was able to wear a designer piece ($375 retail) for only $50. I wanted something nice, but didn’t want to spend the money. Perfect solution and highly recommend for any fun event.
Saved the best for last. But sorry ladies, this one is officially off the market π
Feel free to email me (cedarandrush at gmail dot com) if you have any other questions or would like me to introduce you to these lovely professionals. They truly were a wonder to work with and really went above and beyond. Happy wedding season and best of luck!
