Local Loves: Sarah + The J. Parker

Sara is one of the sweetest girls I have meet through blogging and quite a talented young lady! I was so excited when she volunteered to participate in my Local Loves series. I not only thoroughly enjoyed her choice but her company as well.

NAME: Sara
LIVES: Lincoln Park (I have lived in Chicago for 3 years)
LOCAL LOVE: The J. Parker
LOCATION: Lincoln Park
WHY: The J. Parker view is absolutely stunning and a bit different from most rooftop views found in Chicago. In one full swoop, guests can see panoramic scenes of the lake, the park and the skyline. It is the only rooftop bar  in the area but still has that downtown feel. The crowd is also versatile, so you can essentially bring anyone and a vast array of people; parents, friends, out of town guests, a date, etc. Everyone enjoys this fabulous, little watering hole.

Sara finds herself here time after time. The staff is friendly, attentive and very helpful and doesn’t find it stuffy or pretentious. She also suggests grabbing a night cap here after one her favorite dinner spots, Mon Ami Gabi.
