Trick or Tweet

So in honor of it being the first day of Halloween season, I am going to teach you a little trick to go along with your tweets. Did you know that sometimes if you tweet at hotels, restaurants, etc. they will reward you with a treat?

Remember when I went to NYC? We received a round of complimentary cocktails all because of our social media love! When checking in, we were presented with 4 drink tickets to their rooftop bar. Hello free glasses of Vueve!

So how did we do it? Prior to leaving, I tweeted at our hotel telling them how much we were looking forward to our girls weekend at their fine establishment. My friends liked and re-tweeted my friendly note as well. They simply looked us up and had it waiting. Talk about my kind of customer service.

So the next time you go somewhere or leave for your dinner reservation, shoot them a little tweet-a-roo. You might just get a treat in return.
