If you haven’t noticed, my lifestyle involves a significant amount of dining out. Living in Chicago has exposed me to some incredible cuisine, but with that comes high caloric intake, large portions and not the most nutritionally balanced meals. Well then opens Seasons 52 downtown (also located in Schaumburg), which completely changed my thought process that good food can be healthy and not have the whole “vegan, organic, natural” vibe.
Opening 3 weeks ago, Seasons 52 invited me and a friend for a tasting of their autumn menu and to learn more about their philosophy; a fresh and seasonal menu that changes every week (aka 52 times per year). Each dish is under 500 calories and no butter or dairy is used. How fab is that?! And they also have every type of allergy, dietary restriction menu available – gluten, vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, low sodium and garlic free. Literally anyone could come here and be happy as a clam.

The ambiance is inviting and cozy and I love the live music. Check out the goods below and be sure to give this spot a try. The food and service is wonderful!
{Gamay wine – created and crafted by Season 52’s own sommelier – sooooo good}
{me and Ozzie – the managing partner}
{mushroom flatbread}
{roasted half chicken & mashed potatoes}
{cedar planked salmon and vegetables}
{me and my gal pal Abby}
{filet mignon}
{three little stuffed quail}
{the best part – dessert!) key lime pie // rocky road // pumpkin pie // chocolate chip raspberry cannoli market fresh fruit // old fashioned carrot cake // pecan pie // chocolate pb mousse // mocha macchiato
{we clearly hated it all…}
Many thanks to Seasons 52 and their staff. I will see you again very soon!
I love Seasons 52! The best part is the menu changes frequently so it’s never boring!
