Staycation – Summer House Santa Monica

Brrrrrrrr!!! It is freezing in Chicago and not sure I am liking it. But thank goodness the newest Lettuce Entertain You restaurant, Summer House Santa Monica, is bringing Chicago some California sun. My words and pictures do not do it justice, but you literally feel like you are on vacation right in the middle of Lincoln Park!

I came here a couple weeks ago, and I cannot wait to start frequenting this little spot now that the cold has come to stay. Everything on the menu is fresh and light and the skylights and floor to ceiling windows bring in an exceptional amount of sunshine – even at night. P.S. the retractable roof and windows will be open full time in the summer. Can you even imagine?
