Hot Opening: Nico Osteria

Bonjourno bellas! In a addition to stopping by Eataly’s grand opening on Monday, I was also lucky enough to attend the grand opening of the newest, hottest restaurant on the scene, Nico Osteria! Reservations are booked solid for the next three weeks and with One Off Hospitality Group behind it, you cannot expect anything less.

Located inside Gold Coast’s new Thompson Hotel, this fine dining establishment is absolutely stunning. From the architecture to the lighting, there is no skimping here on the details. One Off Hospitality is the same company behind the Chicago hot spots Blackbird, Avec, The Violet Hour and more.

…Nico is the perfect place to cozy up in a hidden nook or grab one of their sexy cocktails at the bar.

The dining room is just as magnificent with a cuisine to match. Think small plates of fresh fish and seafood; a refreshing twist to the typical italian restaurant.

Shortly after ordering, I spotted Chicago foodie, miss Eat Travel Rock, walk in as well (see what her favorites were here!).

I personally dove into the swordfish, chicken and I hear the desserts are to die for. Everything was perfection and quite the successful opening night. Well done Nico, well done!
