5 Last Minute Mother’s Day Gifts That Appear Thoughtful

I am actually ahead of the game for Mother’s Day this year (are you proud mom?!), but given I am always on the go, last minute gifts are the norm for me. So for those a bit behind the eight ball, I have a round up of items that can be found in a flash right here in Chicago.

1. Kate Spade Rain Check Umbrella: If your time is minimal or you cannot be with your mom on Sunday, what’s better than a rain check? Wrap this little lady up and write a note saying “let’s get something on the calendar for a not so rainy day!”.

2. A Dish and a Treat: Placing a favorite treat (my mom is a fan of Sprinkles and Garrett’s Popcorn) on a beautiful dish she can keep and reuse. Anthropologie has the best selection of serving dishes and bonus points for making something yourself!

3. A Bucket Bag: Mother’s tend to look for our stamp of approval for the latest in fashion. This bucket bag (which might have to become mine too) is so affordable, classic and right on trend.

4. Bon Apetite!: Spending time together is the best present you can give a loved one in my opinion. I adore the idea of presenting a cooking class gift card (or write it in the card) along with a bag of pasta (or perhaps a tomato) as a nice touch. I personally have been dying to check out Eataly’s Cooking School, La Scuola!

5. Love Letter: A lovely card sharing how much your mama means to you never goes out of style. But adding this Kate Spade Snail Mail Tray is just the cherry on top. Isn’t it sooooo cute?

What are you getting your mom? Any other gift ideas? Share below, as I know you are all so creative. Unfortunately I cannot tell you mine, as Cindy (my mama) reads my blog everyday. I love you so much mom!
