So when adventuring, I prefer to walk in both style and comfort. A breezy dress is key when exploring Chicago. It can be both formal or casual – fitting the attire of any place you may stumble upon.
A slightly, dressed up sandal is also given. In this instance, I paired my maxi with these pink ladies, aviators and a patterned clutch.
If you live in Chicago, you understand a bright, light jacket always comes in handy too. It is the Windy City after all.

So what about you? When is the last time you explored unchartered territory? Please share in the comments below.
P.S. Here is another place I discovered on a whim and just so happens to be right around the corner from The Poetry Foundation Library.

Looking lovely! And love the library photos – I’ve never been and makes me feel like I need to stop there! So pretty.

This maxi with neon accents is absolutely stunning. The high slits offer a beautiful vibe that doesn’t let the look feel overdone. Pairing a pattern with stripes makes a bold statement for this end-of-summer ensemble.
