Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you are having wonderful holiday. This is my first Christmas away from my family (tear) but I am so thankful my husband has the best family. I seriously am so lucky to have such an extra home of loved ones. I also wanted to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for reading this little blog. I would not be here if it wasn’t for you and cannot express how much I appreciate you visiting this tiny corner of the world wide web.
However on a lighter note, I wanted to share two super simple and delicious holiday cocktails if you need a last minute idea or want to liven up your Christmas. Did I mention these are easy?!
Simply fill festive glasses with ice (I prefer crushed!). Pour Kerrygold Irish Cream over the rocks and serve with a stirrer. It is delish and tastes like a milkshake. FYI you can find this at most grocery and liquor stores.
Next up? Adult hot chocolate!
Mix up your favorite hot cocoa. I adore the local mix from Hot Chocolate (an incredible restaurant if you have never been!). But a simple Swiss Miss packet works just fine.
Pour a little Irish Cream in for good measure and top with the desired fixings! Whipped cream, a candy cane, cinnamon or marshmallows! Aren’t these marshmallow snowman and gingerbread mug toppers just adorable? Great for the kiddies too – sans Irish Cream of course.
Cheers friends! I hope you all have an amazing holiday and cannot wait for the New Year! Lots of love.
I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! Those gingerbread toppers are so cute 🙂
These look absolutely delicious! Hope you had a wonderful time with your in-laws: it’s always a little weird to spend your first Christmas with them instead of your own family but I’m sure Hubby made the transition easier!
