Don’t look back unless it is to see how far you’ve come.
2014. What a year huh? We are officially full swing into 2015 and I have had nothing but “The Future” on the brain. With all this forward thinking, I want to take a moment and say how important and motivating it can be to take a look back to see how far we have come one year ago. I highly recommend doing this exercise if you haven’t already. I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes I get caught up in the minutia of life and feel like I am not going anywhere. After taking a step back, I am immediately proud of myself. It also serves as a reminder that SO MUCH can happen in 365 days. So exciting right?! So let’s take a look at 2014’s most popular highlights on Cedar & Rush. So fun to revisit these and if you are new around here, a great way to get to know me a little more about me.
1. How To Network Like A Boss: It is hard to stand out no matter what you do. I have had such success through the power of networking and was asked to share my secrets at the Go Blog Social Conference this past spring. These tips may seem obvious but I see people failing at these tidbits all the time!
2. Wherever The Wind Takes Me: Talking about spontaneity and how it’s good for the soul.
3. The Big Red Box: One of the hottest lunch spots not known to the public for those high into fashion.
4. A Lovely Day For Some Oysters: Adore this East Coast meets Midwest photo shoot with Stylish and Scatterbrained at my favorite oyster joint.
5. Risky Business: When’s the last time you stepped out of your comfort zone?
6. 5 Things You Didn’t Know About RPM Steak: One of my favorite posts about Chicago’s hottest restaurant opening’s of the year. Guliana and Bill Rancic’s newest venture with well-known Chicago restaurant owners, the Melman’s. YUM.
7. How To Make Effective Goals for 2015: The title says it all. I received so much amazing feedback on this write up. Great for goal making in general.

What a year you had! Congrats lady 🙂
You too Kit! Thanks friends.
I’ve loved every minute of following along! What are the chances you’re going to be in Kansas City for GBS round two? 😉 p/s that top photo just reminded me that I need to order new business cards!
Thanks Jess and right back at you. I haven’t even thought about GBS but if the stars align, I am always up for a little trip.
So glad we got to meet in 2014! Here’s to another great year!
Me too Kari! Cheers to new beginnings 🙂
Love it! Can’t believe we met less than a year ago at GBS. Let’s grab coffee soon!
I know! And would love a little coffee chat date asap!
