Fork to Fashion: Shake Shack Chicago | Vol. 7

Have you been to the new Shake Shack in River North?Originated in NYC, New Yorker’s are known to wait in two hour lines for this high quality take on fast food. Everything is real and they put an emphasis on local and organic indgredients. Warning: Shake Shack’s popularity can sometimes result in a line around the block. Only grabbing a craft beer, a shake or wine? Be sure to take advantage of their express line (anything cold) for a speedy experience. They also teamed up with Frog Leap – a high end winery based out of California – creating their own exclusive wine label. I personally love their Black + White shake and their Shack-ago Hot Dog. Get it? Oh and their cheese fries are pretty darn good too.

This is obviously a casual joint, so a good pair of stylish Nike’s and a whimsical sweater is all you need. Alice + Olivia’s newest pieces kill me. To elongate your legs, roll your black skinnies so they hit right above the ankle bone. This is the perfect spot the day after a long night out – hence the sunnies. To avoid waiting, I recommend coming during the off hours or just grab a shake in their express line. And if the line is a little too crazy, just hit up Eataly next door instead. Another favorite of mine!
