So I’ve upped the ante today with, not one, but THREE hot openings for April. Can I get a hell yeah?! There is a slight catch – only one of them actually serves food. But who cares right? The point is there is so much awesomeness coming to Chicago I can barely stand it. Can I get a whoop, whoop?! Also, ShopBop is having their Friends and Family 25% off sale starting today! So lots of pretty things to take advantage of for these openings. Now let’s get this triple threat going shall we?!
The most coveted and celebritized workout class. The Kardashians, Victoria Beckham, Lisa Rhina to name a few. SoulCycle is the hottest spin class to grace the US and it’s FINALLY coming to Chicago with three locations. Old Town (next door to Plum Market); The Loop and Highland Park. Based out of LA and NYC, classes are pricey ($30 a pop!) but so incredibly awesome. First class is $20 and officially open to the public on April 14th. Sign up for Old Town opens next Monday at Noon. I expect these to go quickly so jump on it kids!!! Can’t waaaaiiittt! Naturally trendy work out clothes come with the territory. Stella McCartney for Adidas is one of my faves; Phat Buddha is super sexy and SoulCycle gear is a given.

Deemed America’s first “female friendly” steakhouse, STK’s ambiance is nothing less than super swanky and sexy. I dined here in NYC a few years ago with my girlfriends and there is nothing like it in the Chicago steakhouse portfolio. Opening date is still TBD (from what I can find) but I did see they are in the hiring process. So should be soon! It will make you want to get all dolled up in cocktail attire and paint the town red. Designers Norma Kamali, Joa and Endless Rose carrie the best night looks and so affordable!

If you’ve never heard of Rent The Runway – don’t tell ANYONE. And congratulations. You’ve officially been living under a rock. Rent designer frocks and accessories online for a fraction of the cost. True story – the necklace I wore on my wedding day was RTR. Pretty much the best invention ever. Originally on-line only, a few storefront locations have been popping up around the US. NYC, Vegas, DC and noooooow Chi-City. You will now be able to pick up your online order in person or make a last minute swap. Opening April 27th in the Gold Coast, you can make your appointment here. In the meantime, shop my favorite RTR designers Tibi, Kate Spade and Clover Canyon.

Oohh I didn’t know they were opening an STK in Chicago. I ate at the one in Vegas in November, it was super swanky!
I’m surprised how many people STILL haven’t heard of Rent the Runway. But that just means more dresses for me 🙂 I’m an addict!
I really enjoy these posts Nicole! Keep up the good work!
I can’t wait for STK to open!!
I can’t wait for all of these openings – especially RTR!
I am LOVING that Tibi dress, and eagerly awaiting these openings… although Dinosaur BBQ is #1 on my list!
