I’m sure you are familiar with Chicago’s Soho House. It’s the private club’s first summer in Chi-Town, so the rooftop pool is going to be hopping! Consider yourself lucky if you have a friend who’s a member. If you find yourself lounging deck side, be sure to order the a Picante de la Casa – the house spicy margarita! My fave.
As for the attire? Chic 70’s is making quite the splash. Soho House or not, a black statement suit and colorful turban are this season’s hottest accessories. And I’m dying to get my hands’ on Mac’s flamingo lipstick. Wouldn’t you buy this for the name alone? As for entertainment, I have a girlfriend who throws backgammon in her beach bag. So Palm Beach don’t you think? Just remember, no horse play at the pool! Unless it’s on a swan of course.
So where is your favorite spot to take a dip? Oak St. Beach? Sneak into a condo building with a rooftop pool? East Bank? Or perhaps the Elmhurst Park District? That’s where you’ll find me this year 😉 Haha – my how things have changed!
