I would like to introduce you to my favorite travel companion. And it’s not my husband.
This dress. I wore it 4 times over vacation. Sssssshhhh. Don’t tell ANYONE.
“But Nicole! The one you show above is striped and the one you are wearing is navy!” Yeah I know. It’s the same dress, but I had to show you your options. Girls need options. Same goes for the purse.
It doesn’t look like much, but it’s the most versatile and comfortable piece I’ve owned.
From the plane, to touring Boston, I even slipped on sleek wedged sandals for dinner with the better half. All in one day too.
Came in handy as a swimsuit cover and a day dress in Siasconset (a part of Nantucket). AKA – where these photos were taken.
If you ever hit up Nan-Tuck (as I like to call it), you must go to Sciansot. It’s a specific side of the island, where you can find mansions, beaches and homemade blueberry muffins. AKA heaven.
Now if you ever make it to this island {and this very particular part on the island}, you must grab lunch at The Summer House Beachside Bistro. The pool is for guests only. You can’t sit with us! But cocktails can cool you off just as well in my book.
And thanks to Debi Lilly’s suggestion, I snuck a peak at the most magical rose garden restaurant on the island. The Chanticleer. We didn’t get to eat at either of these. Waaaa, waaaaa. But I know for next time.
The backdrops are drool worthy enough. Can you imagine the food?!

I’m cracking up over your commentary haha. “But Nicole!”….I love that stretchy little side piece near the arm hole and the striped version – who doesn’t love stripes?!
26 and Not Counting
Haha – I’m glad someone appreciated it. I love stripes too – it was out of stock so I went with the Navy – which I am not sad about at all. Hope you’re having a great week and thanks for stopping by Jess. xoxo
Love the pictures Nicole! I miss Nantucket already. We need to plan a reunion for next summer.
I miss YOU already! Such a fun time seeing you and the family. I think this should be a summer tradition!
I would be wearing that all the time too! Looks so comfy!
