Friends- I wanted to say thank you so, so, so much to those who came out to the Macy’s Home Event last week. As a blogger {and human being in general}, it’s the biggest compliment when a brand you have loved forever (Macy’s – OMG!) asks you to partner with them. It’s like “Who me? Are you sure you emailed the right person?” Especially when it involves three other entertaining tastemakers who you absolutely adore – Lauren Kelp, Bride + Joy Events and The Everygirl.
From the outside in, everything looks so perfect and amazing over here. I honestly believe people think I just eat Bon-Bons in bed and live the life of luxury. But what people don’t realize is how hard you work behind the scenes to get to these opportunities. I’m telling you – the blog and Instagram posts are just 1% of everything I (and all bloggers) do. So when recognized by a national brand, it’s truly an honor.
So thank you again to everyone who joined me. This goes for all my other past parties too. I know there are so many, you can’t possibly go to all of them. I just wanted you all to know it goes a long way and I notice.
I hope you enjoy a few photos from the event! It consisted of 4 DIY stations (each blogger had their own table) to showcase Macy’s new Home Goods section and some of their brands. My DIY bar consisted of How To Style + Accessorize Your Cocktails – And Outfit! with Waterford Crystal. I will be sharing all my tips in detail in a future post.
My girl Kelly from Just Browsing. Loved seeing you and Keith!
Thanks again friends and I could not do this if it weren’t for your support – every like on Instagram, blog comment, personal support and positive energy counts.
A special thank you to Erin, Sarah, Lauren and the Macy’s catering and design team for not only the opportunity but bringing my idea and vision to life! Such a joy to work with. It turned out better than I could have dreamt.
Wow, Nicole, you look terrific and the event was so sparkly and colorful. Wish I could have made it, hopefully the next one. Congrats on your Event.
