What’s happening this weekend? Any Derby plans?

Some how I talked Kelly into taking photos with me this morning at 5:40 AM! I’ve always wanted to try shooting during Golden Hour – which makes for the best photos. It’s defined as the first and last hour of sunlight. Photo tip! If you ever hire a photographer, schedule your shoot during this time (it can be sunset too). This time of day makes you look incredibly pretty and so flattering. I can’t wait to show them to you!

If you don’t have any plans this weekend, may I suggest a “Piscine” on Fig & Olive’s balcony, over looking Oak Street? I recently tried their spring menu and their entrees are just so fresh and light. Definitely one of my Chicago restaurants! P.S. A Piscine is French Riviera inspired cocktail consisting of Champagne over ice, with strawberries. You won’t regret it. P.S. My shirt is only $42 and I’ve been wearing it everywhere!
