Are you embracing Fall yet?
I don’t know about you, but I’m practicing Autumn so hard. There are 3 ways you can incorporate the most beautiful season into your life everyday. It’s enjoying the little things that make you happy and keep life grand. Of course there are tons of different ways, but below are my 3 absolute faves, that are easy and fun!
1. STYLE
Surprise, surprise right? Layering and mixing textures are every stylists’ secret to great looks. Luckily, this comes naturally with Fall. Suede, boots, sweaters and jackets. I recently layered a white button down under this cropped cable knit sweater, so it peaks through!
I know Hunters are a Midwest favorite (they are truly the most functional boots around). But why not swap them in for something more stylish? Can you believe these Burberry rain boots are rubber?!
******P.S. Shopbop is having their HUGE 3 Day Sale – so stock up folks. I’m talking 30% off Stuart Weitzman too. Just use promo code MAINEVENT16. But Hurry! Ends Friday******
2. THE HOME
Adding little touches to our home makes it feel cozy and lived in. This mat (for rainy boots) is a fun way to greet guests! And this is the most delicious candle I’ve ever smelled. We burn it every night and may rival my favorite Diptyque candle!
3. WINE
If you do a little Googling, you can find all kinds of local wine tasting events and destinations in your area. A great reason to get together with friends!
I personally love upping my wine game this time of year. Not to mention the grand switch from blush Rosé to earthy Reds. Some girlfriends and I are going to a local Pinot Noir tasting tomorrow and next weekend I’m taking a girls trip to New Buffalo, Michigan. The wineries and leaves are stunning in October!
What about you? How are you embracing Fall? Any easy tips we should know about it? It’s my favorite time of year.
