Speaking of, how was your weekend?
If you’re looking for a hysterically good time, book a golf tee time with your girlfriends! I took a page from my own book and did this yesterday. We laughed so hard our cheeks hurt. For having no clue what we were doing (even driving the golf cart was an experience!), we did it and already plan to do it again next month.
The great news? We still have so much of Summer left. And this jumpsuit from Anthro is SO FUN and different. I’m secretly growing tired of wearing dresses, so it feels great to mix it up. How cute would this be for concerts, dinner dates and bridal/baby showers? If you’re tall, it’s ESPECIALLY darling! But if you’re a short stack like me (I’m 5’4!), you’ll need to wear heels/wedges or get it hemmed.
In other news, did you shop the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale? If so, what’d you get?! It was such a topic of conversation this weekend with friends. Even at dinner. Here’s what I got!
What I bought at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale
- This bow top in white {currently $31 || after sale: $49}: It’s just sooooo cute and my friend got it too!
- This Diptyqe Mini Candle Set {currently $55 || valued at: $75}: These candles are truly amazing, last for so long and it’s all their best selling smells. Sean and I save our “nice” candles for company only and I needed something a little more cozy for Fall.
- This bell sleeve top in blue {currently $58 || after sale: $89}: Will go perfect with jeans.
- This Kate Spade necklace in black neutral/multi {currently $64 || after sale: $98}: Very Iris Apfel.
- This Rebecca Minkoff handbag in gunmetal {currently $196 || after sale: $295}: The shape reminds me of the popular Gucci bag, and I secretly want to keep my camera in it!
- Sean got these shoes in gray {currently $216 || after sale: $325}: Which I LOOOVE. He’s always trying to find shoes to wear for going out. AKA something in between his sneakers and work shoes. He’s actually had his eye on these for awhile and finally made a move thanks to the sale.
I also tried to get these {in gingham} and this, but sold out in my size the first day! But here’s a tip if something you love sold out too.
Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Tip: If you can’t shop the Early Access sale (b/c you don’t have a card) or if something you love is sold out) don’t worry! Nordstrom always restocks pieces the first day the sale opens to the public (AKA non-card holders). So there is still hope ladies!
