Just popping in to say hello and God bless America! What did you guys do?
I unplugged A LOT from social these past two weeks. But it’s back to the grind!
It’s been lots of family time and even more to come. Last weekend we went to Saugatuck with my parents. We saw fireworks (haven’t done that in a few years!), snuck in some suntanning at the pool and I’ve been eating all the food. Some how the rest of our summer is jam packed. All good stuff of course! Are you guys the same way?
Here are just a few random things happening in my life and some fun things for you to check out!
- I know a few of you guys live in Elmhurst, so wanted to extend the invite! I’m on the board of the Elmhurst Neighbors and Newcomers Club. It’s AWESOME and and anyone can join. Well, it’s girls only technically. But we do a ton of fun events, drinks are always flowing and I’ve meet some awesome ladies because of it. If you’re interested in joining, it’s only $35 for the year! And given the amount of FREE stuff you get, you make your money back ten fold. - I was asked to speak at two local workshops/conferences this summer! Say what?! I’ll be sure to share details if/when I can.
- Speaking of conferences, I decided to get out of my bubble and do something DIFFERENT. So I’m attending a Creative Camp in Nashville this August. It’s hosted by Pencil and Paper Co and only 20 people are going! It literally sold out in an hour, so I’m so lucky I even get to go! Also, I was totally creeping on who else is attending and one of the production designers of The Bachelor {as in the show} is going. He/she does all the decor and sets up the scenes for all cool dates. So to say this should be interesting is an understatement.
- I can’t believe the Nordstrom Anniversary sale is this THURSDAY! I’m shopping the sale early and will share THE best of the best Thursday night. I’ll be focusing on BASICS & items UNDER $100. So be sure to check back. I also signed up for a Nordstrom Card so I can FINALLY get early access to the sale. Sean and I shop there all the time, so I don’t know why we didn’t get one {it’s free tailoring too!}. Also, don’t forget to enter my giveaway for a chance to win a FREE $600 Nordstrom Gift Card.
- If you’re looking for a fun cocktail spot, this place has THE BEST frozen and tropical beverages you ever did see. That’s where I took these pics!
