My holiday gift guides will begin trickling in starting this week and go through the rest of November! They are bound to save you hours of time and make your loved ones feel extra special and loved. Plus there’s nothing more fun then giving a gift you KNOW they’ll LOOOOOVE.
But before we get into specifics and material objects, I wanted to share a simple way to find the perfect gift for anyone. Every. Single. Time.
PAY ATTENTION. STARTING NOW.
My sister-in-law, Kelsey, is the queen of this! One year she was visiting and over heard me say how bad we needed coasters. We were serving cocktails with paper towels. So classy I tell you! Sure enough, some beautiful copper coasters were wrapped under the Christmas tree that very year. And we still use them to this day.
So listen to what your friends and family talk about. Some upcoming opportunities are…
- Thanksgiving
- Talking on the phone
- Parties
- Texting
- Getting together for coffee.
Ask them what they’ve been up to lately. What are their dreams? Ask them where they found that cute new top they’re wearing. What’s frustrating them? Any changes happening in their life? And what do they foresee themselves doing next year? Maybe it’s an airline gift card they can apply to their dream trip to Paris. Or a leather cord organizer because their phone is always dead. Or even a nice pullover they can wear dropping the kids off at school but still feel put together.
So if you pay attention, they’ll tell you exactly what they want. It’s all about being present in the moment. The best present of all!
Lastly, this is the PRETTIEST sequin dress I’ve ever laid eyes on. Make sure you look at it on the model because my bump changes the entire fit. Sexy but classy, right?! It also works as a fabulous maternity dress for the holidays. You swish and glitz without even trying. Oh! And I got these easy black heels for under $89. For some reason I didn’t have any basic black heels. Ladies I need help!
Happy holidays my loves!
A huge thanks to Arin for snapping these pics =)
