For as much work one puts into decorating their home, it makes total sense to share it with others!
I luckily I decorated early but it’s tradition we get a real tree. So we’re holding off on that til after Thanksgiving! But in the mean time…here’s my favorite resource for everything Christmas and a first look at our home!
The Largest Christmas Decor Store In Illinois
Just like last year, I went to the experts, TreeTime – the LARGEST Christmas decor store in Illinois. I love Treetime because EVERYTHING looks SO real. Like you have to look twice just to make sure! The owner, Laurie Kane, the owner is a DOLL too.
My mom and I’ve raved about Treetime so much, several of our friends drive over an hour to go! If you’re looking for extra help, they’ll set everything up or make a custom tree for you. We used them for our recent nora fleming partnership too.
Now that you know my secret source for the most festive and realistic holiday adornments, come on in where it’s warm. I hope you stay awhile!
Our Mudroom
Don’t you love how holiday decor makes the unfinished spots in your house look done? Haha!
It did wonders for our blank mudroom! Called The Charm Garland, it can be custom made to whatever length you need. There are lights intertwined on it too!
The candle centerpiece takes one second to lay out and adds just a bit of greenery to our table.
Baby girl approves!
Our Dining Room
Wreaths are the classiest! They just gussy up a room in no time. Boxwoods are my favorite and scored these REAL {presevered} ones c/o Treetime.
I just hung them on the curtain rod with a red ribbon and wallah!
Stairway Garland
My absolute favorite! As soon as you walk in our home you’re greeted by our staircase wrapped in garland with twinkle lights. Treetime made the red ribbon with pinecone adornments to add to it.
TIP: If you want garland with lights, this tip is KEY. Get it battery operated so you don’t have to worry about plugging it in. It looks so much cleaner without cords – like mine here!
One year I did REAL garland – and it’s SO nice. BUT the problem with real garland is A. It’s expensive to do every year. B. You have to wait to put it up (I like to get my decor up early and C. It makes a MESS once it dies. So I’ve gone the faux route! Buy it ONCE and you never have to buy it again.
Pretty Packages Tied Up With Strings
I dressed up some empty boxes in Ruby Stripe gift wrap. Their prints are literally art and what I’ll be wrapping all our gifts in! Fun Fact: They also designed the champagne bottle print on these Mark & Graham pajamas!
I gave you a sneak peak of Penelope’s room last week (thank you for so many sweet messages!!) but stay tuned for more!
Happy Holidays my friends 🙂
