7 Tips For An Elegant and Practical Thanksgiving Tablescape
Choose Your Color Scheme: While I usually stay true to blue, I also love touches of greens, layered with neutrals. For added color, I asked a local floral shop to make me an arrangement in a ginger jar I already owned!
Add Style: I knew I needed a pop of pattern and immediately gravitated to these paper patterned Granada Napkins {they come in a set of 15}. Not only are they the perfect way to add style to your tabletop but they are paper. Ssssshhhhh – our little secret! Which means easy clean up after pie. You can get them in square and this print too. Elegant and Practical: This handwoven runner has so much texture and great for layering. It compliments any set of dishes, takes spills in style and easily rolls up once dinner is done! You can see how I used it here too.
Dress Up Your Table and Bar: I love pieces that function and double as decor! These Carmel Rattan Candlesticks dress up your table and bar in no time flat. I placed pumpkins on mine for a festive look. For a bit of ambiance, swap with lit candles right before the turkey is served! I also adore these and can you even handle THESE!
A Place To Congregate: No need for a kids table because these chairs are fabulously family-friendly! The famous Riviera Side Chairs have been on my bucket list for quite sometime. How beautiful is this Fog color? Since they’re incredibly lightweight, they can easily be moved from room to room for extra seating. Make them formal or fun – depending on your style!
One of the unexpected benefits of these chairs is they give you more free space. Our old chairs took up a lot more room. They’re compact but still comfortable! Also, we decided to start out with four and will eventually get two more. Or I was thinking these for the ends!
Several of my friends have the matching counter stools. The material is so easy to wipe down and makes a statement.

What To Wear: As you know, I truly believe entertaining is an extension of your style! And sometimes I even choose my outfit to compliment my tablescape.
