Happy New Years Eve, Eve friends!
Since we’re ringing in 2020 TOMORROW, I wanted to show you a simple way to take your bar cart from ‘everyday’ to a ‘full on fete’!
I just got the Larkin Bar Cart from Serena & Lily. It comes on wheels and GORGEOUS! So talk about the perfect excuse to take her out for a spin.
You can make this transition in ten minutes flat. To channel a clean slate for the new year, I kept both looks light, airy and fresh.
Serena & Lily believes that living well begins at home. And I have to concur! {Which by the way…they’re having their Winter Tent Sale right now where you can get up to 70% off!}.
Scroll below to see exactly how I styled my bar cart two different ways.
Look One – Every Day
The Larkin’s sleek design, minimal lines and versatility had me at hello. You can’t deny she’s a knock out. And with wheels, you can take her to any room you like. Fancy a drink in the living room? No problem!
For the every day, I suggest a curated collection of spirits, with some simple barware and a live plant. A simple bouquet works too. A minimal surface gives you a clean feel and place to set and mix your drinks too!
It’s compact size tucks into tighter spaces when the party’s over too, which makes it easy to keep out all the time. Even in a small space!
Look Two – Full On Fete
When hosting a party, liven things up with plenty of libations and an assortment of glassware! This is when the two shelves really come in handy. Guests can help themselves to their favorite drink. I like storing the clear glassware on top to let the brass and black hardware really pop!
Your Bar Cart Essentials
A lot of times we invite the same loved ones into our home, time and time again. So I’m always collecting trays, linens and decor to switch it up! If you look through my entertaining posts, you will spy Serena & Lily pieces peppered throughout every one. I’ve highlighted my tried and true favorites plus some pieces that I’ve had my eye on below.
- These paper napkins would fool anyone.
- Candlesticks are a great way to add height, bringing interest to your bar cart vignette.
- Texture, texture, texture! 2020 may be the year I finally add these glasses and matching pitcher to my cart. My shopping cart that is!
- Any of the cocktail napkins.
- A good tray to keep things tidy and prevent messes.
- A yummy candle.
- This bar cart can double as a side table!! Pencil & Paper Co NAILED. IT.
- Don’t forget a mirror or art to complete the look.
- Last but not least, think outside the box! You can always make shift a bar on top of a stunning console table or in a tray on top of a coffee table.
Which Serena & Lily bar is your favorite? Do you have a bar cart? I have this one for the summer and the small space entertaining hack you DO NOT know!
Happy New Years friends and so excited for the new year!
A huge thanks to Serena & Lily for sponsoring this post!
