22 EASY Ways To Cheer Up Your Home
- A bowl of citrus fruit for a pop of color! I’ve been keeping a large bowl of lemons, oranges and limes handy to make flavored water, this margarita recipe and add a fresh squeeze of zest to salads and meals. Keeping it out in the open is a friendly reminder to actually use them! Whether you place it on the kitchen counter, island, dining room or coffee table – it adds so much cheer to your home!
- Style your closet.
- Baby Foot. Trust me.
- Actually read your coffee table books.
- Write thank you notes. Using these pens.
- Put out the patio furniture.
- Get a new day dress. My Baybala dress is actually designed with moms in mind! Comfy enough to run after your children and chic enough to meet dad out for a cocktail. Or on the couch 😉 Elastic band, nursing friendly button on top, pockets and easy to wash. This brand is a dream and the same brand as Penelope’s first birthday party dress!
- Find a new scent.
- Save a summer of weeding and Preen your yard.
- Take a luxurious shower: use a fresh towel, new bar of soap, a sharp razor, lotion, exfoliate, face mask, finally remove your nail polish, the works!
- If you’re washing your hands, might as well use the good stuff.
- Order a magazine subscription.
- Grow out your lashes. This stuff is legit.
- Spruce up your entry way. Unclutter and remove your winter coats and shoes.
- Elevate your bathroom with new towels. We just got these!
- Clean out your makeup bag and wash your brushes.
- Rearrange your bookshelves. Just did this virtually with MMDH Studio and can’t wait to share Melissa’s profound yet practical tips!
- Life changing. Order new undies and ditch the rest! My friend recommended this affordable brand (lots of Hanky Panky dupes) and I went nuts.
- Make your bed the proper way.
- Put a spin on this weekend’s mimosa.
- Finally get ahead of your laundry.
