If the stars align, Sean and I are taking a ski trip next month!
We’ll see how things unfold, but in the meantime, I’ve been planning alllll my outfits. From the slopes to the chalets – I cannot WAIT to get a lot of that fresh mountain air.
If you’re an avid ski lover and looking to up your Aprés Ski game, I thought I’d share the “it” styles for both on and off the slopes.
Trust me…I’ve done my research.
The “IT” Ski Gear
If there’s ONE brand to wear on the slopes for 2020, it’s Perfect Moment. From their iconic sweaters to their preppy ski suits, every celeb and model totes their garments on social media. Goldbergh is another high end ski brand equally as impressive. If you’ve been watching Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, you probably noticed Jen Shah dressed in their leopard matching set. And I just discovered Erin Snow which falls in the same category as these other two.
A Secret Resource
I call this a secret resource because it’s not the first place you’d think of when packing for a ski trip. But it should be. Behold…Talbots! It’s actually where my sweater shown above is from {sadly old}. BUT they just sent me some of their latest chalet inspired ensembles. I’m sharing a first look on my Instagram Stories!
Aprés Ski
When it comes to Aprés ski and mountain nightlife, it’s all about leather leggings, fur and comfort! I’m for sure packing my new gorgeous faux fur coat, these leggings and cashmere sweater gifted from J.Mclaughlin. All so comfy!
Affordable & Stylish
This ASOS one piece ski suit was HOT last year and sold out early. I can’t speak to how warm or functional it is, but according to this hot little ski bunny, as long as you wear quality, warm under layers, you’re money.
Essentials & Pro Tips
So I’m no expert skier but thanks to some family friends who are, I’ve learned a few tricks of the trade. Smartwool socks, HotHands warmers, and a good quality chapstick will keep you comfortable all day long. They also taught me to visit the rental shop the evening before your first ski day to beat the morning rush. You will save so much time getting fitted when the rental shops are dead. Then the next morning you can just grab your skis and GO.
