I know a lot of you have a spring break trip planned or just planning for warmer weather.
Below are some cute ideas from our recent trip to Long Boat Key, Florida. I included Penelope’s looks too (and was sure to link some boy options as well}.
details: Tory Burch linen dress {last year but check out the new swimwear} // Sarah Bray hat // sunglasses {old by Tom Ford but so many new sunnies are out}
Tried and true. Tory Burch swimwear always makes it’s way into my suitcase for trips. My swimsuit (three years old and not pictured) is by Tory and I have a seven year old cover up from her that still to this day looks BRAND NEW. A cute straw hat elevates ANY look, so I think worth bringing. My love for Sarah Bray stands just as strong as the day I got her.
details: sailboat dress {old by Kate Quinn} // cardigan {old by Ralph Lauren} // sandals
Lots of questions about this sailboat dress – an old hand me down from a friend! It’s by Kate Quinn who makes darling prints, which of course no longer makes this one. As for the cardigan, it is also old, from last year by Ralph Lauren.
details: vintage floral pajama set c/o James & Lottie
James & Lottie was a huge winner this trip. Worth checking out their entire Spring and Resort collection for the littles. Right before we left, they sent me the SOFTEST and cutest pajamas gratis. This spring print is ideal for warm weather and would be the cutest Easter Basket surprise. They make the matching kid version too!
details: maxi dress c/o Sail To Sable
A maxi dress with lots of movement and requires zero buttons or zippers. Sail To Sable just launched their spring line and every dress and top is better than the next! Definitely check them out. I wore this beauty on our anniversary dinner and in this post too 🙂
details: blue check bow swimsuit c/o James & Lottie {boy swim trunks and check out the palm print version too} // hat {old hand me down from a friend}
The bow! The blue checks! My mom texted me a photo of this suit and said “YOU HAVE TO GET THIS FOR P FOR FLORIDA!”. Sold. This one piece is even cuter in person and I purposely got a bigger size so it fits for summer. Be sure to check out the boy swim trunks and palm tree version too.
details: my rashguard swimsuit // Sarah Bray hat // P’s blue check swimsuit // P’s heart sunglasses
Never in my life did I think I’d like a rashgaurd but I LOVE mine. Cabana Life sent me one last year and I can’t believe how flattering they are. You also save a great deal of time of sunscreen application. Check out the newer prints here.
details: blue and white stripe ruffle swim suit {you can get it monogrammed!} // white terry cloth coverup {can get this monogrammed too} // pink slip on shoes
My parents gifted P this swimsuit and coverup from a brand I’ve never heard of before – Ruffle Butts! The coverup dried so quickly and the perfect thing to throw on for a beach walk or lunch. You can buy it at Nordstrom but we found the pricing for some items less when you shop directly. So be sure to shop around.
I feel like these shoes are a staple for every mama and come in EVERY color under the sun. Waterproof, mud proof, slip on and cute. No brainer. This is P’s second pair.
details: pineapple romper // sun hat
Another cute birthday outfit from Penelope’s Meme – Chris! Just live for the ruffle straps and straw hat. Of course they are both from none other than Janie and Jack.
I posted allll about this entire look with J.McLaughlin in this post. Can’t wait to wear this exact outfit for spring and summer too.
