You’re basically not going to believe what I am about to tell you.
Soooooo….you know when you just want to order pretty flowers, that don’t look cheap and don’t break the bank? Florals are so pricey.
Well, I was recently introduced to a new floral company and I will never order flowers from anywhere else again. Seriously. And you won’t either. It’s called Flowers For Dreams. It’s so great I don’t even understand how they stay in business.
Every arrangement is exquisite and their burlap wrap kills me. But get this…
- FREE Delivery (in the Chicagoland area).
- Bouquets start at $35.
And the $35 bouquets aren’t these flimsy little weeds thrown together. They are BEAUTIFUL! However if you so choose, you can upgrade the display to all kinds of cool stuff – birch, a tin, even a flower crown! Say what?! How cute would it be to send a friend a flower crown for her birthday? Or a little girl? So unexpected and different.
But here’s the icing on the cake. Not only are the flowers locally grown, but the company donates 25% of its profits each month to a local Chicago charity. This month is the Namaste Charter School.
What’s even cooler is this company was started by two kids in 2012. This month they actually hit their $100,000 mark in what they’ve donated to Chicago charities. A huge, huge achievement – and very exciting to share the news!
Between the price, beauty and over all cause – I just had to tell you about this hidden gem. If you have a friend’s birthday, engagement, anniversary, anything – Flowers For Dreams would make for an unexpected gift. The receiver will basically love you forever.
A big thank you to Flowers For Dreams for sharing their message {and a bouquet!} with me. One of the coolest brands I’ve heard of in a long time!
I love this Nicole. I really don’t care for the cookie cutter hokey floral arrangements. I would much rather receive that bouquet in burlap, as if a neighbor dropped by with her homegrown flowers, very cool!
I wish we had something like this in Kansas City! That’s a steal and I love the give back factor 🙂
