Nora recently invited me into her Chicago home. Let me tell you…her West Loop Loft feels like you stepped right inside a glossy magazine!
She gave me an exclusive look of her newest minis; Taught me endless ways to style her collection; And she spilled some entertaining secrets directly from her new book ‘mini occasions’.
Gift Idea: Nora’s book is a beautiful gift this season! What may surprise you {and you’d never know by the cover}, is it is especially lovely for a new mom. Nora’s story and journey is SO raw and touching. As a new mama myself, it brought tears to my eyes. I read it from cover to cover – it’s THAT good.
So you can see just how versatile nora fleming pieces are too, Nora and I put together three different tablescapes. We used her exact same bases but just swapped out the minis and centerpieces for each theme. They are as follows:

Family Christmas Party Tablescape
For a Family Christmas Party we went with the CLASSICS – red and green! Santa placemats and a striped table runner made a whimsical touch {Nora naturally just had these laying around!}.
We crafted the greenery and red ornament table runner courtesy of Treetime! They have the BEST holiday decor and tree selection in the Midwest and also a nora fleming retailer.

NORA TIP: Have your guests help with the music for your party. Ask each person to RSVP with their favorite holiday song and create a playlist using their songs and your own family favorites!

Winter Holiday Party Tablescape
For a Winter Holiday Party, blue accents are a perfect, festive neutral.
Using the same greenery from the previous tablescape, we swapped out the red balls for flocked garland with pinecones and blue ornaments.
Suggested minis
We added Nora’s vintage bow candlesticks for height and she spilled the beans on her gold, plaid plates – a Good Will find!
The wrap it up mini may be one of my favorites! The red bow is classic but makes a statement at the same time.
NORA TIP: Variety can really spice up a tablescape! Mix-and-match china patterns, colors and themes can bring out the best in each other. Try pairing your vintage pieces with your nora fleming collection for a fun and unexpected twist!
This cutie container does it ALL! Straws, flatware, drink stirrers, flowers? The possibilities are truly endless!
Chic New Years Eve Party Tablescape
For our final table, we replaced the blue accessories and flocked greenery for a glittery garland. The table truly sparkled! Once again, Treetime has the best decor.
We kept the candlesticks and placed gold ornaments on each plate. As you can see, just use what you have!

Then came the minis! I adore how the Penguin is named “tiny tuxedo”. So cute right?
Of course, we had Jackson Morgan and champagne on hand too. And speaking of champagne, the bottle of bubbly mini is also a favorite of mine!
NORA TIP: Always have plenty of sparkling water on hand. I usually plan for a bottle per guest. LaCroix or Perrier with a lime or lemon twist is a great pacer between cocktails and will help with post-party headaches, too!
