Weezie recently gifted me a set of their luxurious hand, makeup and bath towels. I’ve been on my wishlist, so when they reached, out I shrieked!
Ever since holding these fluffy clouds in my hand, I went down a rabbit hole researching how to style them. I had to showcase these beauties in all their glory! Plus I wanted to give my bathroom a quick spruce up.
I’m happy to report I discovered 3 EASY and FABULOUS ways to fold your your towels – that anyone can do!
But first…what’s the big deal about Weezie anyway?
What’s The Big Deal About Weezie Towels Anyway?
EVERYTHING. Even Vogue gave them their blessing. Can’t argue with that! But here’s the skinny in a nutshell…
- Their towels include a discreet hook for faster drying.
- They’re much larger in size.
- Rounded corners and piped edges for a sophisticated look.
- They come in many colors and monogram styles too.
- Then there’s the stuff like thread count, material, weave and size. Which means their towels get fluffier over time and actually dry you off! I can attest to this personally. One swoop and you are dry as a bone!
A Great Mother’s Day Gift Idea
If you’re looking for a beautiful and luxurious Mother’s Day gift, Weezie is truly a wonderful idea! Their robes sold out in less than 24 hours. Luckily they restocked! Their luxury makeup towels are GENIUS. The dark navy blue color disguises ALL makeup smudges and keeps your other towels pristine. And their hand towels are an instant way to elevate your powder room.
How To Fold Hand Towels – 3 Ways
Now let’s get on to styling your towels shall we?
Since my mom’s bathroom is much brighter {and cleaner}, I used her’s as a backdrop. You’ll probably notice I was experimenting quite a bit too. If you’d like to see how I styled them in my home, I’m showing you our powder room on Instagram Stories. Okay, let’s hop to it.
The Double Fold
Note: I show multiple towels here but a single towel looks equally fab {I show this in my stories too!}.
This method is my favorite. I notice a lot of magazines and interior designers doing it this way too. Now I know why…
The towels appear fluffier and hang better due to the double fold. Versus a single fold over the bar.
You have to look at the side to really see what I mean. Fold the towel in half. Then fold it in half over the bar again. Simple and GENIUS.
Over The Sink
This is especially great if you don’t have a towel bar. I normally would set the towel to the side of the sink on the counter. But by draping it in the center of the sink, you achieve symmetry and balance.
This technique also shows off that gorgeous monogram front and center. I love how it looks on the double sinks too. Fun Idea – you could personalize the monograms to coordinate with each persons respective sink! A cute “his and her” wedding present too.
Tip: You can also do this over the bathtub with your bath towels…or bath sheets.
On A Garden Stool
A lovely way to display a fresh set of towels for guests. Keeps your sink clean and clear if you need to maximize counter space. Doubles as a nice little perch to do your makeup or if you need to shave your legs on the fly.
Which style is your favorite? 1, 2 or 3? Have you ever heard of these methods on how to style your hand towel? I hadn’t!
Thank you again Weezie for elevating our towel game and bathroom gratis. I don’t think I can ever go back!
