I mentioned last week, Sean and I have a standing date night every week. It’s so nice to just SIT and catch up after a long day without having a toddler pipe in every other three words. {We love you Penelope!!!!}.
We usually sit at the bar (because we can!) and cram in a dinner and cocktail in just over an hour. It’s short and sweet but does the trick!
One of our go to date spots is a local Italian joint named Roberto’s. We like it because it’s within walking distance to our house (eats minimal time of our precious babysitter) and the food and service is always solid. We usually split the chicken piccata and get our own side salads. Sean orders a vodka martini straight up with a twist without fail. And I order something entirely different every time without fail.
If that doesn’t describe our personalities perfectly I don’t know what does!
I’ve been looking for some cute date night looks that that will transition nicely to Fall. I fell in LOVE with the Pistola jumpsuits after seeing one on Megan. {My friend Steph pointed out the lovely Sonja Morgan from Real Housewives of New York has the same one – haha!}.
They come in all different colors and I recommend sizing down. FYI – I also got mine tailored to fit right at my waist.
