We’ve been doing ALL the fall things around here lately and we are still going strong. Here’s what we’ve been up to and what’s still on my list!
Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch // We’ve already been twice to the South Barrington location and we’re going to the Pinegree Grove spot this Friday. Feeding the animals, the corn box, the hungry dinosaur and hay ride are our favorites.
A New Park // P and I went to a new playground in Burr Ridge recently and she had a BLAST! Goes to show you just mixing it up goes a long way.
Family Photos for Christmas Cards // We just got our proofs back and I need to get our cards from Catherine Sullivan Design!
Make Chili // I always freeze extra for an easy homemade dinner when I’m stretched thin.
Make Pumpkin Bread // My mom makes the best Pumpkin Bread I’ve ever had in my life. It’s the salty, crumbly topping that does it for me.
Back To Basics // I’ve realized I need some basic fundamentals in my closet – like a striped t-shirt and cute sweatshirts. Rebecca Minkoff is CRUSHING it right now and most of her pieces are under $99!
Cozy Dinner Plans // Just had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time at Formentos in Chicago’s West Loop. Highly recommend the Cacio de Pepe Sweet Corn. OMG! If you live in the western suburbs, we just checked out Lavender Lounge for after dinner cocktails. Feels very speakeasy and romantic.
Pumpkin Painting Party // I hosted a little pumpkin painting party for our neighbors last week and was so much fun. You could do this same thing thing with a cute turkey or pilgrim craft.
Update The Diaper Bag // Liz Adams just got the Lolita Tote by STAND STUDIO and I LOVE it.
Dinner Parties // We are due to host one soon! Just need to get on it.
Start Holiday Shopping // Have you guys started yet? I plan to start gift ideas this week. Slippers are on my list and I usually look here for my brother-in-laws, dad and Sean.
With this bi-polar weather (cool at night and hot during the day) I’ve been looking for cute, fall tops that pair well with jeans.
CROSBY by Mollie Burch has such colorful patterns and fun silhouettes that make you stand out! This particular blouse is something I normally wouldn’t pick out and LOVE it so much.
